Essential cookies are always on. You can change analytics below.
1. Introduction
This Cookie Notice explains how Speddle ("we", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on Speddle ("Service").
Essential storage is required to run the Service. Analytics is optional and only enabled if you accept it in our cookie banner or on this page.
For broader data practices, see our Privacy Policy.
2. What are cookies and local storage?
Cookies are small text files stored in your browser. Local storage is a similar browser feature that persists data on your device.
We use both where needed to operate the Service, remember preferences, enforce fair usage limits, and—only with your consent—measure anonymous product usage.
3. Essential cookies and storage
These are necessary for authentication, security, and core functionality. They do not require consent under most privacy laws, but we list them here for transparency.
- Session cookie (NextAuth): keeps you signed in after email OTP or OAuth login. Duration: session or until logout.
- speddle_device_id (local storage): a random device identifier used to enforce free-plan audit limits per device. Duration: until you clear site data.
- speddle_cookie_consent (local storage): remembers your analytics preference so we do not ask every visit. Duration: until you clear site data or change your choice.
4. Analytics (optional)
If you accept analytics cookies, we load Umami Analytics (privacy-focused, no ad profiling) to understand aggregate traffic and feature usage.
Umami may set a first-party cookie or use local storage to distinguish visits. We do not load Umami unless you opt in.
If you reject analytics, Umami is not loaded.
- Provider: Umami (cloud.umami.is or your configured Umami host).
- Purpose: anonymous usage statistics (page views, referrers, device type).
- Data: we do not use Umami for advertising or cross-site tracking.
5. Payment providers
When you start checkout, Razorpay or Stripe may set cookies or use storage required to process payment and prevent fraud.
Those providers act under their own privacy and cookie policies. We recommend reviewing them when you pay.
6. How to manage your choices
Use the cookie banner when you first visit, or update your preference below on this page.
You can also clear cookies and site data in your browser settings. Essential storage will be recreated when you use the Service again.
Rejecting analytics does not affect your ability to sign in, run audits, or manage billing.
